Our History

Founded in 1972 by company president Andrew M. Fusco, and built upon a solid foundation of sound business values and ethics, InterClaim® Worldwide Claims Consultants has consistently provided the highest level of professional service to clients large and small.

From modest beginnings serving the Capital Region of New York State, InterClaim® expanded operations to serve the insured public from strategically located offices along the eastern seaboard. Our new fully staffed offices allowed InterClaim® to deliver the same personal attention received by our Northeastern clients to our expanded client base in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the United States. InterClaim® entered the national disaster market in 1983 representing victims of Hurricane Alicia after that storm devastated the state of Texas. Our success for clients in regional and national claims environments set the firm on its path toward success worldwide.

In 1988, after Hurricane Gilbert battered the islands of the Caribbean, InterClaim® was there. Our team of professional consultants mobilized to assist policyholders abroad, overcoming challenges of differing laws and business cultures, to deliver the same quality professional service expected in the United States. Since then InterClaim® has represented clients after major disasters wherever they occur.

With nearly four decades of experience and the public trust InterClaim® continues its tradition of obtaining outstanding settlements for municipal, institutional, commercial and residential policyholders, worldwide.

Today

InterClaim® continues to serve clients throughout the country and abroad whenever and wherever loss occurs.  As a result of our expert representation, InterClaim® continues to grow.  Currently, InterClaim® is experiencing its greatest growth in the Southeast. The addition of the Raleigh, NC office and the strengthening of the Atlanta, GA organization allow InterClaim® to better serve the insured public in the New South and beyond.  The recent  addition of associates to the InterClaim® team prove that when good character meets good training the result is better performance overall, and that means better service delivered to the client.  But InterClaim® does not rest on its laurels, rather our corporate culture encourages each associate to improve their skill set and increase their level of service to the client.

Our Future

InterClaim® enthusiastically looks forward to continued growth in the Southeast and new growth beyond.  We consistently seek new opportunities in regions throughout the United States and abroad.
